Position Title: Service Operations Coordinator- Lighting & Electrical Industry

We're looking for a Service Coordinator to join a dynamic team that supports a wide range of service activities-from small-scale projects and warranty coordination to scheduled maintenance and urgent service requests.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, building strong relationships, and driving operational excellence. You'll be the central point of contact between customers, vendors, and field technicians, while collaborating closely with internal teams like Logistics, Procurement, Project Management, and Finance.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee service work orders from initiation to completion-including setup, tracking, material procurement, partner coordination, warranty handling, and final invoicing.
- Manage small-scale service projects using project management tools and best practices to ensure timely execution.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Participate in a rotational on-call system to manage emergency and overnight service requests.
- Schedule and coordinate field technicians and electricians for service and warranty work.
- Ensure all stakeholders stay aligned with project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
- Monitor service quality, identify improvement opportunities, and share feedback with internal teams.
- Collaborate across departments to maintain consistency and high standards in service delivery.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and department growth.
- Maintain accurate data and reporting across platforms like Oracle, Smartsheet, Salesforce, and customer portals.
- Become a go-to expert in service operations and support areas.
What You Bring:
- 1-3 years of experience in service coordination, including invoicing, work order management, and third-party communications.
- Strong communication skills with both vendors and customers.
- Familiarity with lighting, electrical, or LED projects is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; certifications or coursework are a bonus.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Adaptability and responsiveness to last-minute requests.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Perks & Details:
- Salary: $55,000-$58,000 based on experience, plus a 10% annual bonus (paid out semi-annually).
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible hours (most employees work 8-5, but any 40-hour schedule works).
- On-Call Opportunities: Voluntary weekend shifts with a $250 stipend and full remote flexibility.
- Location: Primarily in-office in Plymouth, MN with the option to work remotely one day per week after a 90-day onboarding period.
